Where the times come from
The app shows the masjid's own published timetable — the same times that are
on the wall and on this website. Nothing is calculated and nothing is
estimated, so the app cannot disagree with the masjid.
If a time in the app looks wrong, it is almost always because the timetable
itself has been updated. Open the app and pull down on the today screen to
fetch the latest times.
Common questions
The app says "not published" instead of a time.
That prayer has no time in the masjid's timetable for that day yet. The app
says so plainly rather than showing a blank or a guess. It will appear as
soon as the masjid publishes it.
The app says the times may be out of date.
Your phone has not been able to reach the masjid's website for a while, so
the app is being honest rather than showing times it cannot vouch for. Open
the app while you have signal or Wi-Fi and it will update.
A widget is not updating.
Open the app once, then remove the widget and add it again. Phones in
battery-saving modes — Low Power Mode on iPhone, Adaptive or Battery Saver
on Android — deliberately hold back widget updates, so turning that off for
a moment helps too.
I am travelling. Whose times do I see?
Always Manor Park's. Every time in the app is reckoned on the masjid's own
clock, so the app shows the same thing wherever you open it.
Where is the whole month?
Turn your phone sideways on the today screen and the full month appears,
with Fridays marked for Jummah.
Does the app have a qibla compass, athan alarms or notifications?
No. It shows the masjid's timetable and nothing else. If there is something
you would find useful, please tell us — the app is built for our community,
at the masjid and at home, and we would rather hear it from you.
What does the app know about me?
Nothing at all. No account, no advertising, no tracking, nothing collected.
